Brian Tang

Brian W Tang is an innovator, educator and ecosystem builder who has worked in the confluence of regulation, technology and finance in Hong Kong, New York, Silicon Valley and Australia. After a career at global investment bank Credit Suisse and Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, Brian founded ACMI and is founding executive director of LITE Lab@HKU, an interdisciplinary and experiential programmethat fosters law, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship (LITE) at HKU's Faculty of Law. Brian is a globally recognized author, speaker and authority in: •Fintech/ Regtech- Co-chair of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong’s Regtech Committee; Co-founder of APAC Regtech Network; Principal lecturer for the world’s largest FinTech MOOC with more than 75,000 learners worldwide on edX; Organiser of World RegtechSummit•Lawtech- Steering Committee Member of Asia Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA); Organiser of LegalRegtechHackin conjunction with Global Legal Hackathon Hong Kong •AI governance – Member of IEEE’s Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems Policy Committee and SMU-Microsoft Asian Dialogue on AI Governance Brian is co-author of Wiley’s The FinTech Book, The RegTechBook , The LegalTech Book and The AI Book.
King Leung
Head of FinTech, InvestHK
As Head of Fintech at InvestHK, the department of the Hong Kong SAR Government responsible for attracting Foreign Direct Investment, King’s mission is to foster a more vibrant fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area (GBA) where King has the privilege to work closely with major fintech stakeholders – leading financial services institutions, fintech companies, accelerators, innovation labs, investors, regulators, universities, etc. In another complementary role, King also serves as Visiting Lecturer in Fintech at Institute for China Business (中国商学院) of The University of Hong Kong in China in which King has extraordinary exposure to Mainland China fintech and financial services executives.Prior to his Fintech immersion, King’s tech entrepreneurial career included his role as angel investor in startups involving artificial intelligence, Big Data and Insurtech; founder of a data management platform and lead generation startup funded by Credit Suisse; transformed Datatrade from a traditional direct marketing agency intoa multiple awards winning CRM and loyalty marketing agency. Recognized for his industry domain experience, King has been invited to serve in leadership roles at Fintech Association Hong Kong (Insurtech Committee), The Marketing Society Asia, [Digital-Direct] Marketing Association, Asia America Multi-technology Association, Young Entrepreneurs Development Council, etc.Prior to his entrepreneurial career, King was a management consultant in strategy, operation and information technology with Booz Allen Hamilton and KPMG Consulting in USA and UK. King was also in technology investment as a venture capitalist at Innovate@ (a tech fund co-managed by Booz Allen Hamilton & Lehman Brothers in USA).King Leung holds an MBA (Hons) in Finance and Strategy from University of Chicago, and BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Frederic is the vice president Asia-Pacific at Jumio in Singapore responsible for leading Jumio’s efforts to launch and expand its online identity verification solutions in the region across a broad range of verticals including banking, financial services, sharing economy, cryptocurrency, and online gaming. Frederic has more than a decade of Asia Pacific experience selling and marketing information security, identity & access management solutions, including Micro Focus, OpenText, and Autonomy, targeting top ASEAN commercial and government enterprises.
Dima Gutzeit

Dima Gutzeit is a Founder & CEO at LeapXpert, where Dima leads the company on a mission of solving a long-standing problem of communication with clients, over consumer messaging platforms. LeapXpert’s Federated Messaging Orchestration Platform (FMOP) is designed and built for regulated (and self-regulated) financial institutions providing unprecedented levels of ease of use and openness of modern, messaging focused, communication channels.Dima has over twenty years of experience in building planet-scale communication platforms, during which, before starting his own company, he headed technology teams of Hong Kong based telecommunication company for seven years, in multiple geographies, creating a global platform for mobile communication service , servicing tens of millions of users daily, and prior to that, spearheading the development department of a company in Israel, delivering communication solutions to companies across Europe and Asia, leading the development of products with innovative secure and collaborative foundations. Through those experiences, Dima gained unique insight into what it takes to deliver products at scale, that work anytime and anywhere. Dima was born in Russia but spent most of his life in Israel, where his professional carrier began and progressed, and last few years Dima resides in Hong Kong.
Irene Lee

Irene is the Compliance Director and Regtech Lead in UBS AG who brings a wealth of expertise and leads in various areas such as regulatory technology, wealth management product compliance, family office compliance & regulatory change governance. She is a talented and seasoned executive with over 10 years of extensive compliance experience in financial sectors including private bank, commercial bank and insurance company. Ms Lee has spearheaded compliance efforts in the bank’s digitalization and regtech initiatives. Ms Lee’s primary interests lie in the application of regtech solutions in the Greater Bay Area to aid compliance monitoring and data analytics.
