FTAHK x Cyberport Partnership Annoucement

The FinTech Association of Hong Kong and Cyberport partner to strengthen Hong Kong’s FinTech ecosystem

Hong Kong, SAR – 12, July 2023 – The FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) today announced a new partnership with Hong Kong’s leading technology hub Cyberport to promote the development of the FinTech industry. Combining FTAHK’s “Super Connectivity” and Cyberport’s robust FinTech startup community, the collaboration aims at providing startups with deeper access to the wider FinTech ecosystem and foster innovation and collaboration amongst its members.

Through this partnership to strengthen ties within the FinTech ecosystem, up to 40 Cyberport community members can get access to FTAHK’s first year membership for free, where FTAHK’s wide range of resources including access to mentorship, networking opportunities and industry expertise, will become available to the referred Cyberport's startups and entrepreneurs. FTAHK is also committing to support and participate in Cyberport’s FinTech events leveraging on its industry expertise and speaker network. .

Commenting on the partnership, Neil Tan, Chair of FTAHK, said: "Technology advancements in A.I. and Web3 are developing at a staggering pace and our corporate members are constantly looking for ways to upskill themselves and improve workplace efficiency. By partnering with Cyberport, this partnership has enabled us to become a more holistic “Super Connector” –  injecting our committees and members with fresh views that would enrich the wider ecosystem through the partnership program.”
