Tokenization is the process of issuing a digital representation of an asset on a blockchain. In recent years, financial institutions have been exploring the utilization of this blockchain technology to achieve benefits such as decreasing data breach risks and increasing transaction efficiency.
FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) Wealth & InvestTech Committee was delighted to co-organize an in-person event with the Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA), inviting industry practitioners who shared an overview of the developing regulatory landscape, and discussed tokenization in existing and new asset classes and the benefits it will bring.
