The battle of CBDC vs Stablecoin didn't disappoint last night. Jabs and punches were thrown, in the ideological, geopolitical, technical and practical areas, debating use cases, what it means to markets and users as well as national vs global reaches. Luckily there was common ground as well - such as that it's about user options and only regulated Stablecoins should be in consideration for usage.
After 8 rounds, the jury (attendees) decided on a split decision. More lively debates with all approx. 30 attendees happened post-fight in our networking part till 8pm.
